Objectives

Prerequisites

Participants should have prior experience in basic implant surgical principles, including flap design, suturing techniques, and implant treatment planning.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Evaluate implant occlusal concepts and identify appropriate occlusal schemes for various implant-supported restorations.
Differentiate the indications, advantages, and clinical protocols for cement-retained restorations, screw-retained restorations, hybrid prostheses, and implant-supported overdentures.
Implement evidence-based implant maintenance and hygiene recall protocols to promote long-term peri-implant health and restoration longevity.
Assess the long-term management of implant patients by evaluating peri-implant soft tissues, bone stability, prosthetic components, and maintenance requirements to identify potential complications and optimize clinical outcomes.

Meet The Lecturer

Dr. Ihab M. Hanna

DDS, FAAID-DABOI

Dr. Ihab M. Hanna graduated, with honors, in 1994 from Cairo University. Afterwards, he spent three years in training and hospital residency before moving to San Francisco. He completed two years of General practice residency at the University of Illinois, as a chief resident, where he acquired additional training with the use of Dental Implants, sedation and special care dentistry.

With over 25 years of implant dentistry experience and faculty at several implant educational programs, Dr. Hanna has extended his skills and knowledge to the community through his implant study club where he supports general dentists in advancing their implant skills through hands on live surgeries further. Dr. Hanna is founder of the RWC Implant Study Club and is committed to sharing dental implant education to the general dentist community.
