Implant Placement Lecture & Workshop on 5/8/2026

If you are looking to strengthen your clinical confidence in implant placement, RWC Implant Study Club’s upcoming Implant Placement Modalities lecture and workshop is a valuable continuing education opportunity. On May 8, 2026, this full-day course will focus on implant surgical techniques, anatomical considerations, grafting concepts, complication management, and hands-on workshop exercises designed for dentists who want to advance their implant skills.

Build Confidence In Implant Surgical Techniques

Successful implant placement requires more than understanding where an implant should go. It requires careful evaluation of anatomy, bone quality, surgical sequencing, instrumentation, and the techniques needed to create predictable outcomes. This implant placement lecture is designed to help participants build a stronger clinical framework for evaluating cases and selecting the right surgical approach.

The course will also include practical discussion around implant placement modalities, giving attendees a clearer understanding of when different techniques may be appropriate and how to approach treatment with safety and precision.

Course Led By Dr. Ihab M. Hanna

This course will be led by Ihab M. Hanna, DDS, FAAID-DABOI, founder of RWC Implant Study Club. Dr. Hanna has more than 25 years of experience in implant dentistry and has served as faculty for several implant education programs. His background includes advanced hospital-based training, general practice residency experience, and extensive work supporting general dentists as they develop their surgical and implant treatment planning skills.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from a clinician who brings both advanced implant knowledge and real-world teaching experience to the course.

What Attendees Can Expect

This continuing education activity is designed for dentists with prior surgical and implant experience who want to further develop their competency in implant surgical procedures. The course will include didactic lecture, case-based discussion, and hands-on workshop exercises using typodont models.

Topics will include osteotomy techniques for different bone densities, surgical kit sequencing, osteotomes, osseodensification burs, crestal sinus elevation techniques, ridge expansion drills, and implant placement systems. Participants will also review relevant anatomy of the maxilla and mandible, indications for simultaneous bone grafting, and strategies for recognizing, preventing, and managing complications.
